(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 19 - WASHINGTON, JAN 18 - Almost 200 American flags have been lined up on the National Mall in honor of the same number of Americans who cannot come to swear by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for the Covid restrictions.
The event, called the 'Field of Flags', includes 56 columns of light representing the US states and territories and which lit up tonight for 46 seconds to commemorate Biden as the 46th president of the United States.
A truly impressive and exciting show.
On Tuesday at 5.30pm (11.30pm in Italy), Biden and Harris will pay tribute to the nearly 400 American victims of the epidemic with a torchlight procession around the Lincoln Memorial water mirror.
