You need these ingredients for the homemade "chicken nuggets"

Ingredients for 2 servings

For the nuggets:

  • 125 g tofu or seitan

  • 200 g canned chickpeas (plus chickpea water, called aquafaba)

  • 1/2 vegetable stock cube

  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard

  • Garlic powder

  • 1.5 tbsp yeast flakes

  • 50 g flour

  • salt and pepper

For the crispy breading:

  • 150 grams of flour

  • 100 ml unsweetened plant-based drink (e.g. oat milk)

  • Tabasco

  • 40 g corn flakes

  • 30 g roasted peanuts

  • Frying fat (alternatively rapeseed or sunflower oil)

How to make the “Chicken Nuggets” yourself: vegan recipe

  • If you are using tofu: First squeeze the water out of the tofu block.

  • Cut the
