The Ministry of Education announced the launch of a drawing competition under the title "Colors and Ideas Toward a Colorful World". The drawings will be submitted to participate in it from the beginning of next February and continue until the first of April of this year, and the result will be announced in the middle of next May.
The competition is conducted in cooperation with the artist Badie Jahjah, the owner of the Alf Nun Gallery “Arts and Spirituality,” who explained that the winning works in the competition will be displayed in an exhibition that is virtually transferred and put up for sale, provided that the proceeds are returned to the winning students, as well as a screening of the winning works that show the ability to draw and create in order to subjugate Owners of workshops to learn about the experiences of different artists.
Jahjah stated that the competition aims to promote the culture of art on the family’s scale, raise the level of artistic work and family dealing with it as an added value that refines the personality and helps it find the gates for the future. The competition also emphasizes the need for partnership between the public and private sectors to employ the energies of art and young thought and build a promising future for children. .
The competition is directed according to a statement of the ministry. According to the statement, artworks are sent from schools to the specialist instructor for art education in the directorates of education and then the Ministry of Education within a maximum period of April 10 of this year.
