This Wednesday, the ANMAT authorized the application of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine to people over 60 years of age.
It had been anticipated by the Minister of Health, Ginés González García, and with the endorsement of the health agency, it is possible to advance with the second stage of vaccination -the first included Health personnel- to cover the main risk group between the end of January and early February.

According to the epidemiological report of the health portfolio, the people over 60 who were infected with Covid-19 in the country are 274,201: 142,358, between 60 and 69 years old;
54,401, between 70 and 79 years old;
and 7,742, older than 80 years.
