(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 20 - Harry Joseph Brant, son of the supermodel Stephanie Seymour and protagonist of worldly New York life, died tragically at the age of 24.
The New York Times reports it.
Brant was found lifeless on Sunday.
According to what the family reported, it was an accidental overdose of drugs that killed him.
He had long struggled with a series of addictions.
"We will forever be saddened that his life was cut short by this devastating disease. In his 24 years, Harry had accomplished much but we will never be able to see how much else he would build," the family wrote in a statement.
The youngest son of the entrepreneur and art collector Peter M. Briant, Harry grew up amidst fashion shows, parties and winters.
She was only 16 when she attended her first Met Gala.
Transgressive and extravagant in his way of dressing and making up, as beautiful as his mother, New York Magazine defined him and his older brother as the "most beautiful teenagers in New York".
In 2015, she created a unisex make-up collection for Mac.
In 2016 he was arrested for refusing to pay for a taxi ride in Greenwich and for drug possession.
Parents said he was due to enter another detoxification center this year.
