With 143 acts of grace - including for his right-wing populist ex-chief adviser Steve Bannon - Donald Trump says goodbye to his US presidency.
Just a few hours before he left the White House, he arranged for penalties and pardons for companions, including white-collar criminals, ex-party officials and two prominent rappers.
His youngest daughter Tiffany, however, celebrated the farewell with an engagement announcement.
Via Instagram, she shared a photo of herself and 23-year-old Michael Boulos in a portico of the White House.
In the accompanying comment, she let the world know that they were engaged.
With the post, which attracted almost 120,000 users, the 27-year-old said goodbye to her time as a first family: "It was an honor to celebrate many milestones and historical occasions with my family here in the White House and to create memories." she wrote.
However, none of them were more meaningful than "the engagement to my wonderful fiancé Michael!" Continued the 27-year-old.
She is looking forward to "the next chapter together".
Michael Boulos also shared the engagement photo on his Instagram account.
The businessman and the lawyer have been a couple for two years.
Allegedly strained father-daughter relationship
Tiffany is the youngest daughter of Donald Trump from his marriage to actress Marla Maples, from whom he divorced in 1999.
Tiffany owes her first name to the legendary luxury jeweler whose New York flagship store is located near Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.
Tiffany did an internship with the US fashion magazine »Vogue« and tried her hand as a model and musician.
So far she has hardly shown any political ambitions.
US media have reported in the past that she was the unloved daughter of Donald Trump - an assessment that the then US President tried to refute, for example when he congratulated her on Twitter in May on passing her law exam at Georgetown University: “Proud to you Tiff! "
