ROME - The Niko Romito Laboratory has entrusted Valoritalia with the task of certifying the new organic and vegan line produced in the Castel di Sangro Laboratory.

The leading company in agri-food certifications in Italy, as stated by the Dg Giuseppe Liberatore in a note, has verified the actual origin of the products marketed from organic raw materials and the compliance of the production processes with the Bio and Vegan Ok regulations, consists of a biscuit with chocolate, organic, lactose-free and egg-free, and a selection of organic fruit jams and nectars with a low added sugar content.

After months of tests and preparations, the traditional recipes have been reviewed by the chef and his brigade, focusing attention on the subtraction of sugars and fats, so that the taste of the individual ingredients acquired an even more immediate recognition.

"This year more than ever - comments Niko Romito - he taught us that nutrition, food and the complex processes of food transformation are linked in a double way to people's wellbeing and health. I have often wondered why, in perceived common, a food considered healthy was almost always associated with an unpleasant and not very greedy taste and from this assumption I decided to try to overturn this paradigm. With the brigade of my research laboratory we did hundreds of tests, we spent months in correct and fine-tune recipes, preparations, processes, cooking techniques to obtain products that are both delicious and good, light and healthy ".
