The CGT union came to demonstrate this Thursday in front of Celio's headquarters in Saint-Ouen, to denounce the PSE plan which plans to close 103 stores and threatens 392 jobs, while the clothing company is suffering from the coronavirus crisis.
“These are the sales and Celio management is selling off the employees!

"We denounce the lack of transparency of this plan, which took employees by surprise, some stores closing next Monday and their employees not even knowing whether they will be kept or not."
“We're at the end of the line,” says Joachim, a young trade unionist from Celio.
"I'm angry" yells at his side Sorel, an employee, outside the headquarters doors.
Pressure
Suddenly the doors open.
Celio's director of security France asks unwelcome visitors to leave the passage.
Tone up.
"We are here and we are going to demonstrate," shouts a trade unionist, ready not to give in an inch.
There are few employees in front of the site.
“By discovering yesterday our leaflet which called for the rally, the management of Celio put pressure on its employees, calling each store, to dissuade them from coming to demonstrate with us.
But many have reassured us their pressures and we are there for them ”, affirms the Cégétiste Élodie.
“Threats to employment, planning or vacations… It's easy to put pressure on the business, there are plenty of ways to do it.” All the more so as many Celio stores remain small structures with a manager and three or four employees.
Tuesday, the management of Celio did not wish to react.
