Candidate Hannah invites Bachelor Niko to the yoga mat

At the end of the first episode you are relieved that everyone is still alive.
The new "Bachelor" had been given a new cinematic aesthetic in places, which made the courtship appear like a soft psycho thriller shot for TVNow.
"I'm not a good Bachelor, ey," whispers Niko Griesert in a montage of anticipated confusing scenes, something very dramatic will happen in the next few weeks that future whispering Niko already knows about, but we don't yet.
There are suspicious showers and awkward phone calls, a lot happens in slow motion.
So it's all a bit scary, and you haven't seen the location yet, which optically resembles a mysterious middle thing between an influencer gender reveal baby shower and the masked ballroom from "Eyes Wide Shut".
The new Bachelor itself is also extremely confusing because it seems really nice.
He comes across as nice and friendly, compassionate and self-reflective, and when he says something really sympathetic again, you constantly have to ask yourself whether that's really the case, or whether it just seems like that, because, of course, even being a tolerably okay Bachelor's degree inevitably has an easy time of it when the two predecessors have just presented themselves as swan throwers and nasty human manipulators.
