Another case of serious illness among mothers:
a pregnant woman with a corona in her 30s gave birth last night (Wednesday) by caesarean section at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
She was transferred to the intensive care unit in a difficult but stable condition.
As you may recall, more than five cases of mothers infected with the corona virus were published during the week, and due to the complications of the disease, medical staffs were forced to give birth to fetuses other than natural births, for fear of the health of the mother and the newborn.

One case is of a 35-year-old pregnant woman with a corona who was rushed to Beilinson Hospital in critical condition.
The baby was born by caesarean section.
Earlier this week it was reported that the woman's condition continues to be very serious, and that the baby is still hospitalized at Schneider Hospital.
Another difficult case occurred last week at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem: a corona patient gave birth by caesarean section.
At the end of the operation and in light of his condition, the baby was resuscitated and was hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit in a very serious condition.
Despite efforts to save him, on Saturday night the baby was pronounced dead.
