The tribute paid by environmentalists to the "unknown deer", the animal pursued on the rails of Chantilly station during a hunt with hounds

Karima Delli, MEP and Julien Bayou, National Secretary of Europe Ecology The Greens, paid tribute to the deer which had been cornered on the rails and platforms of this station in the north of the Paris region, last week, during a hunt.

The images outraged social networks and revived the anti-hunting debate.

The traffic had also been interrupted and the SNCF filed a complaint against X for this intrusion on the tracks and the interruption of traffic.

For its part, the crew of the Rallye des Trois Forêts, involved in the pursuit of the stag, apologized for the inconvenience caused.

"Let's be serious for two minutes, it's a symbolic action", explains the MEP who takes the opportunity to launch a major referendum to ban hunting with hounds.

The tribute did not make the hunters laugh at all.

"It's scandalous, it's a parody of the unknown soldier"

,

explains Guy Harlé d'Ophove, the president of the federation of hunters of the Oise and regional adviser LR of Hauts-de-France.

"She has pot that ridicule no longer kills because she would be in danger!"

Exclaims the hunter, reassembled.
