7,099 infected in Corona were diagnosed yesterday (Thursday) in Israel in 81,828 tests, according to updated data from the Ministry of Health published this morning.
The rate of positive tests stands at 8.9%.
As of 06:41, there are 82,029 active patients in Israel.
1,845 patients are hospitalized, including 1,128 in critical condition and 358 in critical condition.
The data show that 310 of the patients are respiratory.
So far, the plague has claimed the lives of 4,245 people in Israel.
The number of serious patients has been declining in recent days: on Monday this week their number was 1,207, on Tuesday - 1,213, on Wednesday - 1,198, and yesterday - 1,157.
Meanwhile, the immunization campaign against Corona continues to gain momentum.
This morning, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein updated: "We broke another record in the number of vaccinated per day - 224,000 vaccines were given yesterday."
To date, 2,441,379 people have been vaccinated in Israel, of whom 850,811 have received the second dose.
