The latter works very simply: you simply sprinkle baking soda over the affected areas on the upholstery and leave the baking soda there overnight.
The next day you vacuum the baking soda and the stains are gone.

a sponge in heated water and sprinkle the baking soda over it

Then rub the baking soda carefully into the upholstery of the couch.
Then wait until the baking soda has dried before vacuuming it up again with the vacuum cleaner.
You can get on
particularly stubborn stains
with a special mixture:
three tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of water
are mixed into a paste and rubbed onto the residue with a spoon.
Then let it dry.
Finally, the paste is also removed with a vacuum cleaner.

Clean the sofa with washing powder
Cleaning with washing powder is similar to that with baking soda.
Put some of it on a sponge that has been dipped in lukewarm water and rub it into the stains on the sofa.
However, do not use too much of the powder so that you can then rinse it out of the fabric with water.
Otherwise you will still get white stains on the sofa - and cleaning can start all over!
Baking soda home remedy declares war on stains on the sofa
Instead of baking soda and washing powder, you can use baking powder.
In contrast to baking soda, however, baking powder is a bit finer, which is why you should use it in doses.
It is particularly suitable for
spot cleaning
and not cleaning large areas.
To do this, sprinkle some of it on the stain and moisten it with lukewarm water.
After it has dried, it is vacuumed.
How to clean the sofa with shaving cream
Shaving foam is not necessarily the classic cleaning agent, but it can also remove stains from the sofa - you should only keep it away from leather.
Before using the sofa, vacuum it thoroughly and then spray the foam onto the affected area.
After
ten minutes of exposure,
brush the shaving foam with a soft brush in the direction of the fibers - until the stains are gone.
Then you should spray the entire sofa once with shaving foam and let it work for around five minutes.
This will prevent
water
stains from
appearing on the surface
afterwards

Finally, the entire sofa is brushed off or rubbed with a damp cloth.
However, do not use too much water to prevent the sofa from getting soaked.

distilled water

Urine on the sofa: you can do that
With children or pets in the household, something can go wrong.
But you certainly don't want to get into the mishap - let alone the smell.
As an immediate measure, put kitchen paper on the urine stain so that the moisture is sucked out of the sofa.
Then
sprinkle salt over it
so that the remaining urine is sucked out of the sofa.
