The eurozone economy will grow less than expected this year but at a higher rate in 2022. This is what emerges from the survey conducted by the ECB among 66 economists according to which GDP will rise by 4.4% against the estimated 5.3% in October.
For the next year, however, expectations rise from 2.6 to 3.7%.
As regards inflation, short-term expectations remain unchanged as well as long-term expectations (1.7%).
Expectations for the average unemployment rate are capped at 8.9% for this year and 8.3 for the next. In the long term, the reduction is 7.4%.
