(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 22 - The professional-origin Covid infections reported to Inail as of December 31 last year amounted to 131,090, equal to 23.7% of the reports of accidents received by the Institute in 2020 and 6.2% of those infected total nationals communicated by the ISS.
This is revealed by the 12th report on workplace infections from Covid-19 prepared by Inail, which shows an increase of 26,762 cases (+ 25.7%) compared to the monitoring prior to 30 November, of which 16,991 referred to December, 7,901 to November and another 1,599 in October, thanks to the second wave of the epidemic, which had a more intense impact than the first also in the workplace.
The deaths reported at the end of the year were 423, 57 more than the November survey.
The most affected sector is health care: over 80% of complaints come from nurses.
