The orange Romanesco cauliflower arrives on the market for the first time at an international level.

From there the arrival in the supermarkets and hypermarkets, in the phase of consumer tests, of Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria before also conquering foreign markets.
The ideal journey of the orange romanesco cauliflower begins at Crea di Monsampolo del Tronto, as underlined by the provincial Cia Agricoltori of Ascoli, Fermo and Macerata: "these new hybrids of orange romanesco are an absolute world novelty. For ten years researchers have been working in genetic improvement and especially on the orange content that carotene brings.
This product contains the traditional biological active molecules of cauliflowers with the addition of carotene which is the precursor of vitamin A ".
The research activity was carried out between Monsampolo and the French research center Clause.
The transition from the research laboratories to the land took place thanks to the farm of Giuliano Ercoli, associated with the provincial CIA, who cultivated the orange Romanesco cauliflower on his land in Morrovalle.
