(ANSA) - NEW YORK, Jan. 22 - Viola Davis will play the role of Michelle Obama in the new 'First Ladies' series that will flood on Showtime. The series, consisting of one-hour episodes, will focus on the East Wing of the White House rather than on the West Wing, the operational wing reserved for the offices of the President of the United States.
The direction will be entrusted to Susanne Bier. The first episode will focus on the figure of Eleanor Roosevelt for whose role an actress has not yet been chosen.
