Vivendi takes a stake in the Spanish capital Prisa

The French group has acquired 7.6% of the owner of “El Pais”, which is also a school publisher and 20% holder of the Le Monde group.

On Friday, the media and entertainment giant controlled by Vincent Bolloré announced that it had acquired 7.6% of the capital of the Spanish media group Prisa listed in Madrid.

A stake purchased for 52 million euros, not on the market but from the HSBC bank, which wishes to separate from a block of nearly 9% of the capital.
