K-Pop fans did it again this Friday by flying to the rescue of Joe Biden on Twitter.

They hijacked the appeal of an elected Republican who filed a petition for impeachment against the president in office for two days citing an alleged abuse of power under Obama's tenure for leaving her son on the board of directors of 'a Ukrainian company.

New Georgia elected member of the House of Representatives, Marjory Taylor Green, who supports the conspiracy movement Q-Anon, wanted to raise awareness of her initiative by using the keyword #ImpeachBidenNow.

The ace.

Rather than seeing supportive tweets coming in, she saw the social network inundated with photos and gifs to the glory of South Korean musicians.

Within hours the hashtag #ImpeachBidenNow became one of the most used on Twitter, racking up more than 150,000 mentions on Friday.

The enthusiasm even exceeded the social network a little.

As

Variety

pointed out

, several accounts that participated in this impertinent hijacking were suspended for non-compliance with the platform's regulations, some of which they allegedly violated.

This massive support will perhaps prompt Joe Biden to revisit his rather classic musical tastes?
