The Ministry of Health published today (Saturday) findings of genetic sequencing performed on pregnant women with coronary heart disease who are currently hospitalized, in light of the increase in severe and critical morbidity among this population in recent weeks.

Ten samples have so far arrived at the Central Virus Laboratory.

In six of the seven, the British mutation was detected at the end of the paving process.

The Ministry of Health said it would continue to update on further findings, as they may be.

"In light of recent morbidity findings, pregnant women have been promoted in priority of receiving vaccines. Any pregnant woman who is interested can be vaccinated," it said.

According to an internal report by the ministry, nine pregnant women are hospitalized in critical condition. The youngest of them, 21, is being treated at the Springs of Salvation. The oldest, 39, is in Ichilov. Four of the women are in critical condition and are breathing. Five are in critical condition. Three of them need respiratory assistance.

One of them infected a structure.

Another midwife is a schoolteacher.

Only three of them have background diseases (two with diabetes and one with hypertension), another woman has developed gestational diabetes and the rest without diseases.

Segmentation of mothers who are in a difficult situation according to hospitals: two in Hadassah Ein Kerem, two in Maayan Hayeshua, two in Sheba Tel Hashomer, one in Beilinson, one in Ichilov and one in Shaare Zedek.
