This week (Thursday) as part of the country's sports program on 103FM radio, sports commentator and journalist Ron Kaufman spoke racistly about a South Korean player who is a candidate to join Maccabi Tel Aviv as a reinforcement player.

"There's a push of yours that some slant will come here to do dumplings," Kaufman told Yaniv Tuchman's sports reporter who took part in the broadcast, referring to reports of Korean player Lee Sung Woo being brought to the team.

As expected, many listeners did not like these things and they were quick to express their reservations online.

"Enough of how such a person gets a microphone, my God," angrily tweeted on Twitter and then added below the loaded audio clip from the show: "Hyosh Radio 103FM, how exactly does this racism pass quietly?".

"Ugh," another tweet added with emoji emoji.

This is not the first time, nor is it the second time, that Kaufman has expressed himself in a controversial way about different people or groups in the population.

In 2016 he said on the radio "Have you ever seen a Russian, a Russian or a member of the Commonwealth, who does not drink whiskey?".

Radio director Or Tsalkovnik then decided not to condemn Kaufman or suspend him.

Kaufman is also known as a magnet for defamation lawsuits due to his unfiltered mouth, including from the Basketball Association and the Football Association.

One of his regular targets is Minister Miri Regev, whom he managed to call while broadcasting in many nicknames such as "Beast", "Bora", "Stupid" and "Golem".

In this case, which caused a media uproar, it was decided that Kaufman would be suspended from broadcasting at the station.

Radio 103FM responded: "These things are not acceptable on Radio 103FM, even if they were said in jest. During the day, the station's CEO, Or Tsalkovnik, clarified with the presenter and informed him that there is no place on the radio for such statements.

"Ron Kaufman regretted the things and announced that at the beginning of the upcoming sports program on Sunday, he will apologize to the listeners for what he said."
