Kayaks in Nahal Taninim (Liran Kaminer)
The good rains that fell last week also filled Nahal Taninim in the Ramot Menashe area, which gave the signal to some local "kayakers" to pull out the kayak and go on an Israeli rafting that can only last for a few days, as long as the water level is high enough.
This is not the first time that the four adventurous "river mice" - Leon Dickman, Sheerin Ben Yaakov, Eyal Alpert and Lahav Bloch from the Alona Valley settlements, who live near Nahal Taninim, take their kayaks, walking distance from their home (1,000 meters), and go sailing on the river, which This year is empty of water.
Last year they also went rafting just in January, when the creek was filled with plenty of water.

Six kilometers down the creek
The wet experience was documented on Thursday last week by nature photographer and hiker in the world, Liran Kaminer, who used his glider and documented the rowers from higher up in Upper Crocodile Creek.
"The last rains came on time and helped us stay in the houses, but as they stopped, it was impossible to stop the adventurers between us," Eyal Alpert tells Walla!
Tourism.
"We started the cruise near Kibbutz Gilad, descended six kilometers down the creek to the Amikam fence - two hours of intoxication," Alpert adds.
"Like last year, I waited for a phone call from Leon, and indeed he did. I went for a morning run from the house along the creek to see the water level and see if there were any problem points for crossing the creek. Although the amount of rain fell did not flood the creek, but there is enough water for fun rowing."
It is important to note that Eyal, Leon, Sheerin and Lahav are professionals and it is not recommended at all to enter the water without experience.
