17-year-old arrived at Safra Children's Hospital feeling chest pains - and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit • His condition is well defined • There is no suspicion that these are side effects of the vaccine
A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized today (Sunday) in the intensive care unit at Safra Children's Hospital in Sheba, two days after receiving the second dose of the corona vaccine.
The boy arrived at the hospital without any background illness and after feeling pain in his chest.
At first it was suspected that he had been infected with the virus in the past, and that the feelings he felt were due to a complication of Corona.
Professor Gidi Prat, director of the hospital's pediatric intensive care unit, said the boy arrived at the hospital with a "general bad feeling".
According to him, the child is in good condition and the hospital does not think that the symptoms he is experiencing are related to the vaccine that the boy received.
