The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Monday) that yesterday 4,868 people were diagnosed in Corona in Israel, out of about 54,000 tests conducted, with a positive rate of 9.3%.

The total number of active patients in the country is 70,836.

The condition of 1,140 patients is severely defined, of whom 358 are respirators.

4,419 patients died in the epidemic in the country, with the death toll standing at 58 in the last day.

Health Minister Yuli Edelstein updated that yesterday 200,000 more people were vaccinated in the country. In total, more than 3.7 million vaccine doses have been given to date. More than 2.5 million have already been vaccinated in the first vaccine dose and more than a million in the second dose as well. Edelstein added that "this is the way to defeat the virus."
