Covid: Russia, 'less than 20,000 cases, first time since November'

(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 25 JAN - In Russia there are less than 20,000 cases of Covid-19 in one day for the first time since 11 November last year. According to data published by the national anticoronavirus operations center, in the last 24 hours in Russia, 19,290 infections from Covid-19 and 456 deaths caused by the disease have been ascertained. In total, according to official data, 3,738,690 cases of Covid have been detected in Russia since the beginning of the epidemic and 69,918 people have died from the disease.
