(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 25 - A libel suit that turns into a historical anti-hater sentence.

It happened a few days ago at the court of Pisa, where the accused AlessandroRaffa, a former politician and blogger, was convicted of defamation against the Trio Medusa, Gabriele Corsi, GiorgioMaria Daviddi and Furio Corsetti.

The plaintiffs themselves reveal this, specifying that "the case upheld a sentence which, for the first time in legal history, sanctioned the competition with unknown persons, or the indirect incitement of other users to express dissent, in fact provoking self-defamation".

In 2013, during an episode of the program "Chiamate Roma Triuno Triuno" on Radio Deejay, the Trio Medusa made fun of the theme of bank seigniorage.

Alessandro Raffa, following the live radio broadcast, wrote in his blog nocensura.com: "Some readers have reported to us that the Trio Medusa in a column broadcast on Radio Deejay has discredited the theme of banking [...] and also denigrated those who speak of it : painted, in practice, like poor idiot ".

"We invite all our readers to express - in a civil way - dissent about the broadcast in question to the staff of the Trio Medusa, directly on their Facebook page, asking the Trio Medusa to 'rectify' about a question that is certainly very serious, on which there is very little to laugh. "

Immediate response from users who, with offenses, personal threats against the three conductors and their families and vulgarity, had invaded the showcase of the conductors forcing them to report the incident.

"We have decided to fight this battle to protect ourselves, but we hope, above all, to have given a strong signal to all those who, either due to a too twisted bureaucracy or fear of exposing themselves, avoid facing this sad reality and override" affirm Giorgio, Gabriele and Furio.

"This judgment is particularly important because it establishes not only the responsibility of those who offend on social networks, but also of those who indirectly invite them to do so, as well as reiterating the concept that what is virtual is real. One cannot think that on social networks it is permissible to insult or threaten".
