Nataliya Kruchenyk, the mother of the teenager assaulted and beaten with incredible violence by a dozen people on January 15 on the Beaugrenelle slab (Paris XVth), oscillates between hope, anxiety and incomprehension.
Placed in an artificial coma after his assault, the schoolboy woke up at the end of last week.
Since then, his family and doctors have been watching for any sign of improvement in his health.

Shortly after the beating of her son, Nataliya had posted calls for witnesses everywhere at the scene of the attack, in an attempt to advance the investigation.
“Above all, I want to understand what happened that day and what caused this violence against my child,” she explains.
The track of a possible dispute between gangs of young people from Beaugrenelle and Vanves (Hauts-de-Seine) is notably explored by the investigators.
“Yuriy has a lot of friends.
But I never heard that he could have had a band or something like that… ”, confides his mother.
