The Italian actress Asia Argento has accused US director Rob Cohen of sexual abuse.
Cohen abused her in 2002 while filming his action film "xXx - Triple X", said the 45-year-old in an interview with the Italian daily newspaper "Corriere della Sera" on the occasion of her upcoming autobiography.
"This is the first time I've talked about Cohen," Argento said.
"He abused me by forcing me to drink GHB, he had a bottle." The party drug GHB is also known as the "rape drug" because, among other things, it makes its victims mindless.
“I honestly didn't know what it was then.
I woke up naked in his bed that morning, ”she added.
A spokesman for the director denied the allegations.
The allegations were "absolutely false," he told the AFP news agency.
Cohen and Argento had "an excellent working relationship" during the filming.
Argento's claims are "confusing" - "especially given what has been reported about her over the years," the spokesman added.
Argento was accused of sexual assault himself in 2018.
The US actor Jimmy Bennett accused her of sexually assaulting him at the age of 17 in a hotel in California.
The actress admitted the sexual contact, but denied that the initiative came from her.
The Italian is one of the most prominent representatives of the #MeToo movement.
In 2017, she was one of the first actresses to accuse Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of rape.
