My Successful Sisters: Princess Diana's Nurses Pick First Gate

When we talk about the nieces and nephews of the late Princess Diana, they are used to talking about Lady Kitty Spencer, but her little sisters - Emilia and Eliza, are equally beautiful and successful - and here they are picking the first cover of a fashion magazine.

In an interview, they told about the aunt they knew in their youth: "We did not understand how significant she is in the world."

When we talk about the prominent nieces of the late Princess Diana, we almost always mean Lady Kitty Spencer, who managed to become famous in her own right and not just because of the family closeness to the fashion icon.

This week, however, her little sisters stole the focus, picking up the first cover of a fashion magazine and proving that the finest gardens have not missed any of them, and there is enough room in the fashion industry for the whole family.

Then meet the twins Lady Emilia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer, daughters of Count Charles Spencer - the younger brother of the late Princess Diana and Kitty's little sisters.

The 28-year-old Amelia and Eliza have been chosen to star on the cover of a March issue of Tatler fashion magazine as a symbol of one of the hottest dynasties in Britain.

The cover photos were taken at a luxury hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, the city where they grew up as children to be away from the media in the UK.

On the cover photo, the twins are seen in glittering Mew Mew dresses inlaid with crystals, stones and pearls, with their blond hair pulled back and their bright eyes particularly bright.

In another photo from the production they are wearing white buttoned shirts, Emilia (left) in a Anderson & Shepherd shirt costing € 225 and Eliza (right) in a Ralph Lauren shirt costing € 630.

The cousins of Princes William and Harry are not yet swimming in the fashion industry, but judging by the way they are photographed, they can certainly consider getting into it with full force.

At the moment, they are still not strong enough on Instagram either, with Eliza having less than ten thousand followers and Emilia a little less than 11,000.

However, it seems that after the last production everything is going to change.

In an interview with the cover story, the twins talk about the plans for 2021, including Amelia's wedding to her partner of the past 11 years, Greg Malt.

"My father suggested that we get married at the Althorp estate," she says.

Remember, Princess Diana's burial place is Althorp.

"This is our family's home. I will be lucky to get married there. It is a beautiful and special place and we lived there for the first three years of our lives. We were part of a long legacy of sponsors who lived there."

However, it is not certain that we will win a semi-royal wedding in the UK, because Emilia does not rule out the possibility of also holding the wedding in the city where she grew up.

"Cape Town is where I grew up, and we may also decide to get married here."

Next, the two talked about Princess Diana, the late aunt, who was killed in a car accident when they were only five years old.

"As a child, we did not understand how significant she was in the world. We only knew her as our aunt," says Eliza.

"She was warm, motherly and loving. She always made efforts to be with us, and she had a talent for reading the hearts of children."

In the interview she recalled how her sister and childhood spent time with their aunt at the beach, and a photographer approached them, a routine that was difficult for the princess and eventually even led to a serious accident in which she lost her life.

"We were young and didn't quite understand what was going on, but Diana made it a game - who would get in the car first. It's amazing to see how she protected us and made us feel safe and not scared."
