However, the chosen ones should in no case have certain characteristics.

the 4th season.
In the Berlin and Brandenburg area, the Filmgesichter agency should therefore
look for
more than 2000 suitable extras
.
Anyone who can take time off during this period to spend a few days in the north of Germany already meets the first requirement.
According to the dpa,
men between the ages of 18 and 50
in particular should have good chances
.
The agency is interested in extras who are no more than 1.85 meters tall and do not have a beard.
Only older men with full beards are okay.
Those who do not already have a Fasson haircut must also expect to get a new hairstyle from the mask department.
The Fasson cut describes a hairstyle in which the hair on the neck and sides is much shorter than on the top of the head.
Women are also wanted, but certain criteria also apply to them.
So your hairstyle should not exceed the length of a chin.
Better would be a page cut or bob haircut.
Age does not play a role for
female extras
.
People with
physical malformations, deformities, amputations or disabilities
are also welcome to apply as extras.
This also applies to people who appear “emaciated” or to people with a “lived face” and a “thin body”.

On the other hand, you should not apply if your characteristics include “colored or highlighted hair, undercuts, solarium tan, artificial fingernails, piercings or visible tattoos”.
Since
"Babylon Berlin" is set
in the 20s and 30s, the aforementioned anomalies do not fit into this time, explains dpa.
