LE FIGARO.

- What should we expect on the employment front in 2021?

Mathieu PLANE.- For the moment, the consequences of the crisis on the labor market are quite limited because partial unemployment has played its role of shock absorber.

Without this device, it is estimated that 2.5 million jobs would have been destroyed in 2020 when in reality this figure should reach 790,000.

For 2021, with the joint effects of the resumption of activity due to the partial lifting of activity but also of some 180,000 job cuts due to bankruptcies, it is estimated that the level of employment should stabilize.

According to our forecasts, we will remain at the end of 2021 at around 800,000 jobs destroyed compared to the pre-Covid situation.

Emmanuel JESSUA.- We should probably not expect an improvement.

In view of the health situation and the tightening of constraints
