Miss Iraq tweeted about the plight of her hospitalized parents, and Yair Netanyahu responded to the tweet • What is the reason for her great frustration? | global

Sarah Idan updated on Twitter about the situation of her parents who are hospitalized with Corona, and the Prime Minister's son wrote her a wish of recovery in response • What is the reason for her great frustration?

Sarah Idan, Miss Iraq for 2017 and who has become the object of persecution by extremists in the Arab world following her support for Israel, last night (Tuesday) addressed her 26,000 followers on Twitter asking to pray for her parents' well-being.

Three days ago Idan updated that her parents were infected with the virus (and she too was infected with it, even though they are staying on other continents), and asked her followers to pray for them.

Now, as mentioned, Idan is updating her parents' hospitalization again, and also tells how difficult it is for her.

"My parents are hospitalized in different hospitals. Please pray for me and them, because I am starting to lose my patience," she tweeted.

Both my parents are in different hospitals now.

Please prayers for them and for me, I'm losing my patience

Among the first responders who hurried to wish them a speedy recovery and health was Yair Netanyahu, who tweeted: "Sends you prayers," with emojis of praying hands.

Many other Israeli and Jewish surfers also strengthened her hands.

While Idan has not explicitly stated the reason for her soaring impatience, a review of her tweets from last week suggests she feels very frustrated with the way the virus is being treated and treated.

In a number of tweets she shared that even though she made sure to wear a double mask and even a protective mask over, she was still contagious.

She further said that before returning to the US from traveling abroad she felt symptoms, underwent a number of tests and all of them came back negative, although she was positive.

Idan (30) became a household name in Israel and around the world, when in 2017, after being crowned Miss Iraq, she took part in the Miss Universe pageant - where she was photographed for a selfie with Israeli girl Adar Gandelsman and managed to stir up a storm in the Arab world.

The picture led to multiple and severe threats to her life and the lives of her family and they were forced to flee Iraq when Idan chose to settle in Los Angeles.

Pray for her.

Miss Iraq

Over the years Idan (30) founded a non-profit organization called "Humanity Kadima" which aimed to re-establish relations between Arabs and Israelis and Muslims and Jews, and in 2018 even visited Israel at the annual event of the American Jewish Committee AJC where she was invited to speak.

In 2019, she was named "Ambassador of Peace" by UN Watch, which oversees UN activities. In a speech that year at the organization's Human Rights Council, Idan condemned Hamas and the Iraqi government's violation of human rights in the country and expressed support for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. To Iraq, while also talking about the rise of anti-Semitism in Muslim countries.

The speech, as expected, provoked much outrage, Idan was accused of being a spy and agent of the Mossad and Iraqi MPs even demanded that she be denied citizenship.

In 2020, she again managed to provoke a storm on the Internet after uploading to her Instagram a photo with Mossad chief Yossi Cohen that was taken at the White House at the signing ceremony of the founding agreements between Israel and Bahrain.

Despite the threats to her life that continue to this day and the persecution from which she suffers from extremist elements (including ISIS and Hamas), Idan continues to express support for Israel, which she says is the only democracy in the Middle East that promotes human rights, persecutes extremists and fights dictators.
