(ANSA) - TURIN, 27 JAN - The mayor of Turin, ChiaraAppendino, was sentenced to one and a half years in the shortened trial for the events in Piazza San Carlo.
Same sentence for the other 4 defendants (a fifth had previously settled).
The trial refers to what happened in Turin on the evening of June 3, 2017, during the projection on the big screen of the Champions League final, when a series of waves in the crowd led to 1,600 injured and subsequently to the death of two women.
