Youtuber Nath Campos has denounced one of her platform mates for rape, also Youtuber Ricardo González, known as Rix.
Through a video on her channel that has been viewed more than 12 million times since the weekend, the young woman tells how Rix abused her after dating some friends.
"A few years ago I lived a situation of abuse and today I want to share my story. Because I owed it and because I owe it to all who have experienced something like this. Thank you for listening to me," he posted on his social networks as an introduction to the video.
The youtuber says that whoever her friend was accompanied her home and then raped her, always according to the young woman's testimony.
"We arrived at my building and Rix, one of the friends who was accompanying me, offered to get on me. I couldn't walk well, I was in a pretty heavy state," he says in front of the camera with watery eyes.
After this she adds that one of the few things she remembers from that night is the youtuber about her.
"I couldn't move my arms or move my legs. I don't know if I was in
shock
, I don't know if I was very drunk," she explains.
For more than 47 minutes, Nath Campos recounted not only that aggression, but all the ordeal that he had to live afterwards.
He continued to work alongside Rix on numerous projects, as they both had the same agent agency.
Despite telling what had happened, the company's promises to investigate and handle the case were always vague and unspecific.
"I was in situations in which I had to choose whether or not to work [on projects] because Rix was involved," the young woman denounces.
The words of Campos, with 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube, have generated a
tsunami
in the world of
influencers
in Mexico, many of them men who more than once have sneaked the apology of rape among their jokes.
This is the case of Werevertumorro, who justified a rape by being drunk;
while Luisito Comunica appeared in one of his videos with another
influencer
, with whom he is seen drinking, he assures that the real objective of the game is "to get well peda [drunk] and then abuse you".

For his part, Rix has declared that he will be "responsible for everything" and that he knows that after this many people will stop following him on social media.
"I understand it, I understand it and I invite whoever wants to stop following me, to do so."
So far, he has lost more than 50,000 subscribers on YouTube and another 100,000 on Instagram.
Along with the messages of affection and support, Campos has also been criticized and questioned.
Something that is not alien to many rape victims.
Why didn't you report it before?
Why did you continue to work in the same company as your alleged abuser?
Why did you decide to drink that night?
The networks and even the gossip programs took up the issue revictimizing her and without any questioning of the alleged aggressor.
The tertulianos of the morning program
Hoy
de Televisa had to rectify their comments the day before after the numerous criticisms on social networks.
as @MarthaFigueroax explain that the problem is not that she was drunk, the problem is the VIOLATOR
that is happening with her drivers @programa_hoy ?????

At the end of the video, Campos explains that she has filed a rape complaint with the Mexico City Prosecutor's Office and invites other women who have lived the same way as her to report.
After its publication, more
influencers
have decided to raise their voices, such as Ixpanea who has denounced Yayo Gutiérrez for recording intimate videos of her and other women without their consent.
The storm that has awakened the case of Nath Campos is one more story that adds to the long list of cases that put Mexico in the mirror of its machismo.
A country where 10 women are killed every day.
"If you can't go out to drink calmly and confidently with your friends, with whom can you?" Concludes Campos.
