We have long understood that this is a matter of taste, an explosive and war-saturated subject, personality tests and just mood swings - but when it comes to eggs, we have one clear winner.
We simply call this winer "a yellowish-yellow yolk, and everything else will work out on its own."
Yes, including all this static noise that has been our life lately.
The way to get to this swampy utopia, however, is a bit tricky.
True, the egg-laying version is both simple and reasonable enough in general, but we're talking about the real thing - such a regal mystery, tough on the outside and devoted on the inside.
But as mentioned, it's just us.
For everything else - soft and hard, scribbled and omelette - there is Jerry May.

Jerry May's Egg Guide
A simple, concise but very thorough video guide recently filmed by the esteemed chef for ABC Australia included an accurate schedule for each scale of eggs usually prepared at home.
"Timing, timing, timing. That's the most important thing here," she explained, moving on to demonstrate.
May, who owns two reputable and popular restaurants in Melbourne, started with a simple test to test egg freshness, went on to hard-boiled eggs in varying degrees of making, and moved on to poached, eye-poached eggs and the Grand Finale - a chunky, cheesy, and quick omelette ("Perfect for a morning with a hangover", Thieu ).
At the end of the video, her home chopping board was used as a seductive modeling plate, on which all the pieces that fell from the fire were placed.
"It's that simple," she explained, "if you remember to schedule everything, you'll even be able to enjoy it like I do."
