Météo France is warning this Thursday against the risks of heavy rains, floods and avalanches in the north of the Alps and the Jura massif.
Seven departments, three more than Wednesday, were placed in orange vigilance.
Four for avalanche risks: Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Isère and Hautes-Alpes.
The Doubs, Jura, Ain, Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Hautes-Alpes and Isère are for their part affected by the risk of heavy rains and flooding.

This very marked rainy episode will be all the more remarkable since it is accompanied by "a warmth in the mountains and a significant snowmelt, in part at the origin of the avalanche vigilance in the north of the Alps", specifies Météo France.
