(ANSA) - MILAN, 29 JAN - "For three weeks Lombardy has had data from the yellow zone": this is what the president of the Region Attilio Fontana writes on Facebook, hoping that "after the week unjustly spent in the red zone, today the Ministry can take a decision that takes into account the real epidemiological situation of our region ".
The order signed by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza on 23 January with which Lombardy was reclassified from red to orange lasts 15 days.
A new ministerial provision would therefore be needed to pass first into the yellow zone.
In his message on social media, Fontana explains that in the region the "tratamponi and positive incidence rates" are "strongly below the alarm threshold of 250 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants".
Hence the wish that the Ministry may take into account "the real epidemiological situation" in Lombardy, "above all - he adds - considering that the refreshments for traders and categories, hit by government closures, do not arrive and are insufficient".
