This Saturday, January 30, 2021, journalists' trade unions and associations such as the League for Human Rights called for a rally in Place de la République to demand the withdrawal of the comprehensive security law.
Between speeches, sets of music were broadcast to honor the world of culture, prevented from organizing shows because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The participants managed to transport a few trucks with sound equipment to improvise, in the center of Paris, a “Free Party” where wearing a mask and barrier gestures were optional.
The police dispersed the rally at the end of the afternoon with water cannons.
While the government is asking the question of the acceptability of a new confinement, the young choppers have clearly expressed what their priority is.
