Another mass party in Corona times: The police broke up a celebration with around 200 guests that was illegal in Corona times on Sunday night in Euskirchen.
A 23-year-old organized the open-air party on the site of a former missile station in the cheap forest, the police said.
Most of the celebrants probably came from far away
A witness noticed loud music coming from the forest area on Sunday morning.
A larger music system was found on site.
Many guests fled to the forest, and the personal details of around 35 participants were recorded.
According to the officials' initial findings, many of the celebrants probably came from outside the country.
Several administrative offense proceedings have been initiated due to the violation of the Corona Protection Ordinance.
The police say there is a risk of "substantial fines."
