The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported 6,614 new cases of coronavirus and 275 deaths (151 men and 116 women) reported in the last 24 hours.
In the daily report, it indicated that 1,933,853 positive cases were reached in the country and 48,249 deaths from the disease.
With these registries, there are 1,933,853 positives in the country, of which 1,729,999 are recovered patients and 155,605 are active confirmed cases.
"34,947 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak 6,226,585 diagnostic tests for this disease were carried out, which is equivalent to 137,219 samples per million inhabitants," the health portfolio reported.
As the vaccination campaign in the country slowly advances, Presidential Advisor
Cecilia Nicolini
estimated that the bulk of the vaccines developed in Russia against the coronavirus will arrive in the country during February.
"There is a delay of two or three weeks" in the delivery of the doses while in Moscow they are expanding "the production capacity because really the results of Sputnik V have been very good," he said.
