In recent days, a study has been presented in which patients infected with the corona virus reported a burning sensation in the skin, peeling off parts of it and even a swollen tongue.
At this stage, there is no definite information on the matter.
The study was presented at a conference this week by researchers from Madrid, who examined the patients' symptoms when the corona wave hit the Spanish city in April.
Of the 666 patients examined, close to 50 percent showed some skin problems, about a quarter of which were in the mouth area, including burning or discoloration of the tongue.
The British medical expert, Tim Spector, noted a few days ago that a rash on the skin or tongue can be one of the symptoms of the virus, and in his estimation in many cases people just do not notice it, mainly because other and more severe symptoms appear. "One in five patients is unaware that he has developed rash and unofficial symptoms of coronary heart disease," he said.
