(ANSA) - ROME, 01 FEB - From the denier to the realist, from the warrior to the veteran to the rebel, there are different types of emerging COVID-19 personalities.
Research, from the University of Bergen in Norway, published in the journal Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, worked on their identification, describing 16 as the main ones.
1. Denier: minimizing the viral threat by promoting business as before.
2. Diffuser: that is, who wants the virus to spread, that herd immunity develops and returns to normality.
3. Damager: who tries to harm others, for example by coughing against them.

Realist: who recognizes the reality of potential harm and adapts their behaviors.
5. Worried: Staying informed and safe to handle uncertainty and fear.
6. Contemplator: who isolates himself and reflects on life and the world.
7. Accumulator: panicking, buying and stockpiling products to quell insecurity.
8. Invincible: often young, who believes himself to be immune.
9. Rebel: defiantly violating the social rules that limit individual freedoms.
10. Complainant: who takes out their fears and frustrations on others.

Exploiter: who exploits the situation for power, profit, for acts of violence.
12. Innovator: who designs or reuses resources to fight the pandemic.
13.Supporter: showing solidarity in support of others.
14. Selfless: helping the vulnerable, the elderly and the isolated.
15. Warrior: who, like frontline health workers, fights a reality that appears grim.
16. Veteran: who has experienced SARS or MERS and gladly obeys restrictions.
