Vaccination is accelerating in Ile-de-France.

The region will finally be able to continue its vaccination campaign against Covid-19 "without postponing the first injection appointment", announced on Monday the regional health agency (ARS) of the region, which indicated that new niches would be open Tuesday.

The ARS had yet announced Thursday to foresee "the delay of 15,000 to 20,000 appointments" fixed the week of February 8 to allow "to ensure the entirety" of some 200,000 second injections expected in February, while maintaining "A sustained rate" for the first doses, with 127,000 inoculations.

Hauts-de-France and Bourgogne Franche-Comté had also announced postponements.

A target of 10,000 injections for next week

In addition, for the week of February 15, "new vaccination slots will be opened on approved platforms (Doctolib, KelDoc, Maiia), during the day of February 2," said the ARS, which intends to ensure "around 10 First 000 injections ”that week.

The following week, "part of these first injection capacities will be used to initiate operations aimed at priority populations who cannot go to ambulatory centers", adds the agency.

Lately, Ile-de-France had emerged as one of the regions furthest behind in terms of vaccination rates.

Thus, on January 27, seven of the eleven least developed metropolitan departments were located in Île-de-France.
