The Ministry of Health announced today (Monday) that the number of people infected with the South African corona mutation in Israel has risen to 80.
The verified ones carrying the variant were discovered using genetic sequencing, performed at the Central Virus Laboratory.
In this process, 30 carriers were identified.
Also, 50 of their verified contacts were found.
