The distribution of the
Sputnik V vaccine
, validated this Tuesday by The Lancet magazine and the only one against the coronavirus available for now in Argentina, was thought based on the
total population
of each province.
But that number is not proportional to the number of doctors that each district has.
That caused some
imbalances
.
Among them, the possibility of the Buenos Aires government to offer the vaccine to Moria Casán is just a sample.
Clarín
reported at the end of December on the potential problem that could arise from the
"Sputnik coparticipation", when distribution was just beginning.
The National Vaccination Plan has a series of priorities.
In the first place are the health personnel;
in the second, those over 70 years of age.
This sequence has a total of seven levels, which also includes those over 60, security personnel, those under 60 with pre-existing diseases, teachers and, finally, other strategic groups.
This Monday there was a great stir on social networks because, in a context of
lack of vaccines
, Moria Casán revealed that next Friday he would receive the first dose.
The actress meets two requirements: she is over 70 years old and, according to the gaze of the Province, her image serves to
raise awareness
in the population that it is necessary to be vaccinated.

asked for details about the initiative, from La Plata there were two different responses.
On the side of the Interior, they preferred not to make statements.
On the Health side they were surprised: "That idea of vaccinating 100 cultural references
had fallen
when fewer doses came," they said.

This last piece of information is key: a more cordial treatment with the unions may depend on the immunization of teachers when it comes to defining the return to
face-to-face classes.
The relative “slack” in Buenos Aires with the available vaccines was also reflected in the call that the
College of Psychologists of the Province of Buenos Aires

to its professionals so that they could be vaccinated, even if they did not have underlying diseases or were in the first line of battle against the coronavirus.
Clarín wanted to know what the professionals' response had been, but there was no response from the entity.
