Covid: AFP, 600,000 dead in Latin America and the Caribbean

More than 600,000 people have died since the start of the pandemic in Latin America and the Caribbean. This is the result of a count by the AFP agency based on official sources. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - MONTEVIDEO, 02 FEB - Since the beginning of the pandemic in Latin America and the Caribbean, over 600,000 people have died.


   This is the result of an AFP agency count based on official sources.

The region, which includes 34 countries and territories of Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean, recorded 601,256 deaths, the second highest number of deaths per virus after Europe.
