Marilyn Manson's record company took action after allegations made against the musician by several women.
Loma Vista Recordings announced on Monday on Twitter that due to the "disturbing allegations" they would no longer distribute Manson's latest album.
There should therefore not be any new projects.
Several women had previously made allegations public.
You accuse Manson of ill-treatment.
The US actress Evan Rachel Wood wrote on Instagram that Manson had "abused her terribly for years."
She spoke of "brainwashing," Manson manipulating her to make her submissive.
At least four other women spoke of their experiences, including models Ashley Lindsay Morgan and Sarah McNeill (read more about the allegations here).
"Terrorized and Injured"
McNeill said of Manson that he "emotionally abused, terrorized and hurt her."
Morgan accused him of "abuse, sexual violence, physical violence and coercion."
Manson himself initially made no statement.
Now he wrote on Instagram: his art and his life have long been "magnets for controversy", but the latest claims about him are "terrible falsifications of reality".
His intimate relationships were always based on "total consensus with like-minded partners."
Already in 2018, after the abuse allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein became public, a complaint against Manson had been filed.
It was about alleged sexual offenses from 2011. It was not known who had made the allegations.
There was only talk of an "acquaintance" Manson.
The prosecution dropped the case, citing statute of limitations and a lack of evidence as reasons.
Manson had the allegations rejected by his lawyer.
Wood and Manson's relationship became known in 2007.
After several interruptions, the couple got engaged in 2010, but separated a little later.
Wood has spoken several times in the past few years about experiences of abuse and rape, but without naming names.
