On December 24, 2020, an interview with the musician Emery Cohen was published in the "Shishvat" supplement of "Israel Hayom", which released a revealing debut album about dealing with Majdo Joseph's disease, an incurable degenerative disease.

Two days after the article was published, an e-mail was received in the "Israel Today" system from Efrat Amram, who identified herself as the director of the Majdo Joseph Association, whose main goal is to give hope to patients in Israel.
