61% of young people are bullied or cyberbullied

61% of young people say they are the victim of bullying or cyberbullying, and 68% of having witnessed it, considered after drugs and sexual violence the most feared threats by children. Six out of 10 teens say they don't feel safe online. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 04 - 61% of young people claim to be a victim of bullying or cyberbullying, and 68% of having witnessed, considered the threats most feared by children after drugs and sexual violence. Six out of 10 teens say they don't feel safe online. The biggest nightmare for girls is Revenge porn (52.16%). In the year of Covid-19, 93% of adolescents said they felt alone, with an increase of 10% compared to 2019. It emerges from the data of the Osservatorio Indifesa 2020 of Terre des hommes and Scuolazood diffused in view of the International Day against Bullying (7 February) and Safer Internet Day (February 9).
