(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, FEB 4 - Joe Biden has announced that he will sign an executive order to raise the number of refugees that the US will take in to 125,000, against the 15,000 expected for this year, after drastic reductions by his predecessor. "Diplomacy is back," he said again on his first visit to the State Department, where he promised to "work with allies and partners", "renew our role in international institutions and reclaim our credibility and moral authority." He then spoke of Burma, the relations between China and Russia, and returned to ask for the liberation of the Russian opponent Alexey Navalny and an end to the war in Yemen. (HANDLE).
